Information contact

  1. You speak with an Australian living in Melbourne who has personally been through the process and can answer your questions.
  2. Tell us what treatment you would like and send through any photos or X-rays.
  3. We send all your information to the Vietnam clinic and then they will send us a total treatment cost breakdown and how many days you will need to be there for the treatment.
  4. Once you have received the estimate for your dental treatment and the time needed to be in Vietnam, you can then decide to go to the next step.

  • Let us know the date you are planning to travel.
  • We check clinic availability and confirm the day you need to attend.
  • Once your flights are booked, we help with your Vietnam visa requirements.
  • We arrange accommodation with breakfast supplied.
  • You receive your translator’s contact details before you arrive.
  • Your translator assists you through immigration and travels with you to the hotel.
  • You are picked up and driven to the clinic when treatment begins.

Clinic process

First day

  1. All relevant X-rays are completed.
  2. Clinical photos are taken.
  3. You meet with the dentist and your translator to discuss your options for your dental treatment.
  4. Once you have considered all options from your X-rays and treatment assessment, the clinic will confirm your final treatment plan and fixed treatment cost.
  5. At no stage is any pressure applied. You are given time to consider your treatment plan, even if you need to return to your hotel and think it over.
Once you approve the treatment plan

Payment is made directly to the clinic and your treatment can commence.

How do I start?

Start with an initial conversation. You explain what treatment you are considering, then send photos or X-rays so clinics can review your case.

When do I know the final treatment cost?

You will receive an estimate before travelling, based on the information, photos and X-rays you provide. Once you arrive at the clinic in Vietnam, the dentist will complete your consultation, X-rays and treatment assessment. The clinic will then confirm your final treatment plan and fixed treatment cost before treatment begins.

Do you help with travel?

Yes. We help co-ordinate clinic dates, visa requirements for Vietnam, accommodation, translator contact and pick-up support.

Is treatment completed in one trip?

It depends on the treatment plan. Implant cases can require final treatment after approximately three months, once the bone has integrated with the implants.

How is Your Smile Journey supported?

There is no fee to speak with Australian customer support, even after you receive your estimate from the clinic in Vietnam and decide whether you would like to travel for treatment.

If you travel to Vietnam, attend your consultation, have your X-rays and check-ups completed, and then decide to proceed with treatment through the clinic, Your Smile Journey may receive a small referral fee from the clinic. This means you do not pay Your Smile Journey separately for the guidance and support.
